Video - Introducing the Komodo Chair

Healthcare technology firm Komodo Healthcare has launched a four-in-one electronic hygiene chair to increase the dignity and independence of those with reduced mobility. The Komodo Chair combines a stand-alone toilet/commode, a stand and assist raiser, a shower chair and electronic variable height.

Over a six week period in November and December 2019, we were asked to introduce a new and novel “assistive technology” into the day to day running of our busy, 58 place residential care home. 

When you or someone you know needs caring for, your home may need to be adapted or you may need to get different types of equipment to make your home easier and safer to live in. It may also promote independence, autonomy and dignity for the person needing care and provide peace of mind for those caring.
